(Skills listed are those that students will be working on in class)

Baby Classes
(Parent participation required)
Minnows (Ages 6 - 12mo.), Guppies (Ages 12 - 24 mo.), Goldfish (Ages 24 - 36 mo.) Age-defined parent/child classes! Pace of class dependent on ages
1. Teach child to be comfortable in water 6. Blowing bubbles/putting face in the water
2. Water awareness 7. Gliding
3. Floating on front & back & rolling over 8. Jumping in pool when sitting & standing
4. Kicking 9. Climbing in and out of pool
5. Submersion 10. Underwater Swim
 
Dolphins
(Ages 24-48 months)(Parent participation required)
Two year olds must have completed Goldfish prior to enrolling in Dolphins.
1. Teach child to be comfortable in water 5. Front and back floating with assistance
2. Blow bubbles; put face in water 6. Flutter kick w/assistance for 10 ft.
3. Jump in pool w/assistance 7. Introduce safety rules
4. Glide with assistance  

 

 
Rosie Red Fish I
(Ages 3 & up)
1. Teach child to be comfortable in water 5. Front and back floating with assistance
2. Blow bubbles; put face in water 6. Flutter kick w/assistance for 10 ft.
3. Jump in pool w/assistance 7. Introduce safety rules
4. Glide with assistance    
 
Rosie Red Fish II
(Ages 3 & up)
1. Submerge head in the water 5. Combined arm and leg action with face in water w/assistance
2. Front and Back float w/o assistance 6. Tread water 5-10 seconds
3. Glide without assistance 7. Learn safety rules and how to get help
4. Flutter kick width of pool w/o assistance    
 
Oscar Orange I
(Ages 3 & up)
1. Roll from front float to back (and back to front) 5. Arm stroke for beginning backstroke
2. Freestyle width of pool w/o assistance 6. Elementary backstroke width of pool
3. Rotary breathing width of pool w/assistance 7. Tread water 10-15 seconds
4. Flutter kick width on back w/assistance 8. Learn more safety rules
 
Oscar Orange II
(Ages 3 & up)
1. Retrieve objects from the deep end 5. Tread water 10-15 seconds
2. Roll front to back & back to front 6. Elementary Backstroke one width
3. Freestyle one width rotary breathing without assistance 7. Combined Swim Test
4. Backstroke one width with assistance 8. Name two safety rules
 
Yippy Yellow
1. Freestyle & rotary breathing 2 widths w/o assistance 4. Backstroke width of pool w/o assistance
2. Elementary backstroke width of pool 5. Tread water 15-20 seconds
3. Back glide w/o assistance 6. Learn Safety Techniques
 
Golly Green
1. Freestyle with rotary breathing length of pool w/o assistance 5. Breaststroke width of pool
2. Backstroke one length of pool 6. Underwater swim one-half width
3. Elementary backstroke width of pool 7. Freestyle flip turns
4. Tread water 25-30 seconds    
 
Billy Blue
(45 minute class)
1. Freestyle 2 lengths 5. Tread water 1 min other than flutter kick
2. Backstroke 2 lengths 6. Sidestroke length of pool
3. Breaststroke length of pool 7. Backstroke flip turns
4. Swim underwater width of pool    
 
8 Rainbow Fish
(60 minutes/6 students per class)
1. Freestyle 4 lengths w/flip turns 5. Sidestroke 2 lengths of pool
2. Backstroke 4 lengths w/flip turns 6. Tread water 1 minute using 3 kicks
3. Breaststroke 2 lengths w/2 hand touch turns 7. Circle Swim
4. Butterfly 2 lengths w/two hand touch turns 8. Timed swims
 
Polly Purple Fish
(Ages 8 & up) - 45 min class
Designed for older children learning how to swim. Upon completion many will be ready for Yellow level
1.

Back & front float 5-10 seconds

5. Rotary breathing width w/assistance
2. Glide w/o assistance 6. Elementary backstroke width of pool
3. Tread water 10-15 seconds 7. Flutter kick on back w/assistance
4. Freestyle width w/o assistance 8. Arm stroke for beginner backstroke
 
HOME SCHOOL
(Ages 5+) - 30 minute class
Exercise for beginner and advanced swimmers mixed with learning basic swimming skills - being comfortable in the water, gliding, front and back floats, flutter kick, treading water, beginner freestyle and backstroke, as well as learning safety rules!
 
Swim Lessons for ADULTS too!!
(available upon request)
Overcome any fears you may have in a warm, comfortable environment as a beginner swimmer; or for those more advanced simmers, perfect your strokes and techniques.
