Private lessons are handled very similar to our class enrollment policies and are entered on class rollsheets if purchased for the term, and with use of “admit to private” slips purchased for those on an individual basis. Coaches are paid accordingly by All About Kids based on this information.

PRIVATE LESSON PROCEDURE
Students/parents should check with coaches on available private times. In order to schedule a private lesson, the student must be currently enrolled in a swim class and be referred to private lessons by their instructor. AAK waiver form is also required and student must be a current member.

PRICES
Private lessons - $30 each/half hour ($270/10 weeks) – Buy 9, get 1 FREE when purchased for the entire term. $30 per lesson if starting mid-term.
Semi-private lessons - $20 each/per student/half hour ($180/10 weeks) – Buy 9, get 1 FREE when purchased for the entire term. $20 per student/per lesson if starting mid-term. Both parties must sign up together and pay for Semi Private lessons.
Note: One hour privates/semi-privates are twice the above cost. There are no further discounts (sibling, second class discount, etc.).

RESTRICTIONS
Private lessons are to be scheduled for the same day, same time and with the same coach during the length of the term in order to qualify for the discounted rate. When a private lesson is missed by the student, they may attend open gym/swim free of charge and practice what they are learning. For Semi-privates - if one of the parties is unable to attend, the coach will still teach the lesson and the other student may attend open gym, cheer, or swim FREE of charge. Makeups will be scheduled only for cancellations due to the instructor’s schedule or AAK closings. The discounted price is based on a per student basis over the entire term. Lessons may not be shared between students just as in a regular class.
